Practice and background
Ruth spent six years as underwriting counsel at a title insurer before moving to private practice, so she reads a title commitment and a survey the way a title company does.
Her clients are mostly businesses buying or leasing the building they work in: a bakery’s first production space, a distributor’s second warehouse, a family that has owned a row of storefronts on Milwaukee Avenue since the 1970s.
Every lease review she sends comes with a one-page summary, so the owner knows what the sixty pages say before signing them.
